The Joy Found in Jeanne’s Garden

Surrounded by soft Spring flowers,
red petals reach up to kiss lip-to-lip,
opening itself to the sun,
wantonly awaiting the bumble bee,
a gentle wind bows the stem,
smiling face brushes your brow softly in loving kindness.
This garden of delights
eases a burdened soul
and frees my heart of weariness.
