Losing Our Collective Memory

I guess losing actors, actresses, politicians, musicians, and friends is an undeniable part of aging.  But to lose what passed for popular culture in my life is like losing our collective memory.  Of course some things need to be ditched and not carried forward by the next generation -- like racism, misogyny, white supremacy, mass shootings and bad movies.

  1. Short but poignant. So sad. I try to keep my jar half full but it gets harder and harder, especially looking at the morning paper and seeing that awful awful man who every day makes everything worse...:(
