A rather rare trifecta of moon events has occurred last night and this morning: A
Super Blood Blood Moon Eclipse. The last time this happened was 1866. The following photographs were taken by me in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my Nikon Coolpix B500 camera using a zoom 40X telephoto lens.
A Super Moon
("a full moon or a new moon that approximately coincides with the closest distance that the Moon reaches to Earth in its elliptic orbit, resulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth")

As the morning light came about 6:30AM, I lost a lot of definition of the moon but it still was stunning in the blue sky.
Oh my that is truly spectacular. Wow!
